So just a quick little update on how my German lessons are going.
I got 100% on my first test and 95% on my second test. Das ist sehr gut!

Visa in Hand
So I was correct... it was my new visa waiting for me at the post. I dropped it off at the Consulate with all the required papers and photos. One little scare, they weren't sure if I could apply because of my age being that of the maximum age within the Youth Mobility Program. Three other people confirmed it was kein problem so they accepted it and said it was ready for pick up on Montag.
So far this week:
~ I picked the visa on Monday with no trouble.
~ Had my 3rd German lesson where I discovered the first difficult word for me to pronounce - sprichst.
~ Met and had tea with 2 very nice Berliners living down the hall from Kely last night, who gave me all sorts of tips and advice for living in Berlin. As well I got to practice my German with them and impressed them!!! :D
~ Tonight, I have my fourth class which I really look forward to because it just gets more and more fun.
I've had a great start to the week!

German Consulate
I received a slip in the mail stating that I have a letter to pick up at the post office. I believe this is my newly renewed passport...
This means tomorrow I can pick it up and go to the German Consulate to submit my application for my work/travel visa! I have everything in order... my health/travel insurance for one year, my flight itinerary, my visa application forms, my passport photo (x2) and with any luck, if I am correct, my shiny new passport!
I wish myself viel Glück (good luck) for tomorrow that all goes well. :)

Ich heiße Devi... Ich komme aus Kanada... Ich wohne in Vancouver
I started my Deutsch lessons on Monday with great success and fun. Second class is this evening. I'm just about to finish my hausaufgabe (homework).
But more importantly...!!!
M&P went to view and apartment for us in Neukölln on Monday and they found out today that WE GOT IT!!! It's super cute and super CHEAP!!! We are looking at about $260 CND each, per month. That's about 1/3 what I pay for now in Vancouver.
April 5th couldn't come sooner!!!
